Happy and Holy Feast to all Parishioners.
This most important Feast Day observes our belief that the Virgin Mary was physically taken up into heaven. It provides us with the opportunity to celebrate the heavenly birthday of the Virgin Mary. In Australia we are called to observe Weekly Mass and to observe two other Holy Days of Obligation. Christmas Day December 25: The Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Assumption August 15: The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
